Governance arrangements
The Local Board at Redriff Primary is responsible for ensuring there is a clear vision, ethos and strategic direction at the academy. Governors hold senior leaders to account for the educational performance of pupils, and oversee financial performance, ensuring money is well spent.
Our Local Board has established a Finance and General Purposes sub committee, which considers matters of finance, resources and facilities for the academy.
City of London Academies Trust is the legal entity accountable for Redriff Primary. The Trust is sponsored by the City of London Corporation. Further information can be found on the Trust website.

Chair of Local Board – Kathrin Hanki

I am the Operations Coordinator for Airwars, a civilian harm watchdog, with responsibility in HR, Finance and operational matters. My further background is hospitality management and I was an Ofsted registered childminder while my own children were younger and themselves at Redriff.
I have always admired how the school puts the children’s happiness and well-being at the heart of everything it does and since joining the then LGAC in 2018 (and taking over as chair in 2023) I have been eager to champion this ethos and support the leadership team in making Redriff the best school for our children and community by supporting and also challenging them link advisor in areas such as Safeguarding, SEN and Parental Engagement.

Our Local Governing Advisory Committee (LGAC)
As an academy primary school, Redriff is overseen by two governing bodies. The first body looks after the three schools in the multi-academy trust (MAT): COLA, Galleywall, and Redriff. To ensure that each school has local governance, the LGAC was instituted in 2018 to look after each individual school.
The LGACs mandate is to support the governance functions of Redriff, including the intent, implementation, and impact of school policies. We are advocates of and for the school, while providing important challenges to the senior leadership team. We are pleased to introduce to you the members of the Redriff LGAC.
