At Redriff, we provide Wrap Around Care (Extended Day) as well as extracurricular clubs.
Extra-Curricular Clubs
At Redriff, we build cultural capital and develop the whole child including their intellectual, social, physical and moral development in an enriched environment. Pupils at Redriff benefit enormously from our extensive, holistic enrichment provision which includes our extracurricular clubs. We believe that this provision is an extension of the learning and personal development in the classroom. The clubs offer a diverse range of activities such as MFL, yoga, art, choir, violin and debating. We also offer a wide range of sports clubs, overseen and led by our full time PE specialist, Lorraine Durrant. Our extra-curricular clubs take place at different times during the school day: before, during and after. We also offer Holiday Activity Camps (HAC), where we work with external providers to run holiday clubs.
Regularly, throughout the school year, the extra-curricular club offer is shared with parents, who have the opportunity to apply for places in the clubs. Where possible, we try our very best to offer these clubs free of charge, however sometimes there may be a cost for taking part in a club – this is clearly communicated before applying for a place. We are committed to offering a set number of funded places in our paid clubs to children who are eligible for Pupil Premium Grant. We closely monitor our registers to ensure that all children are able to and are accessing our rich provision. Children who are in Wrap Around Care can also access the Extra-Curricular Clubs.

After School Club
Redriff’s After School Club (ASC) offers childcare for children from Nursery to Y6 and is staffed by a qualified team led by Jodie Marvin. ASC runs from 3:15 pm (EYFS)/ 3:30pm (KS1 and KS2) until 6 pm.
Children in ASC are in “houses”. Children in Year 2 to Year 6 are in mixed-age houses and children in EYFS and Y1 have their own separate club based in the Foundation Stage. This creates a positive family feel, helping to build strong relationships within the house, between the adults and the children. Whilst creating a sense of belonging for children it also provides consistency and increased certainty for the children. The Year 5 and 6 children in the house help to support the younger ones and the house lead encourages and models this. High quality activity takes place included free time where children have games to play and activities. There is also a dedicated playtime, where all children go out for free time with the other houses. Each week there’s one session that is dedicated to completing homework where all children should do their home learning. The adult lead in their house will lead this, and it is the children’s responsibility to have their spellings and logins on that day.
Nursery and Reception: £67.50 per week
Key Stage 1 and 2: £61.25 per week
