Year 6 Abbey Home Farm
Published: Wed 21 October 2026This term, a group of our Year 6 children enjoyed a wonderful week at Abbey Home Farm, where they fully immersed themselves in farm life! Throughout their stay, they stepped outside their comfort zones, embraced exciting new experiences and supported one another every step of the way. From feeding the farm animals and harvesting fruit and vegetables to building campfires, splitting logs and preparing and cooking all their own meals, the children approached every challenge with enthusiasm, determination and resilience.
It was fantastic to see their confidence and independence grow throughout the week. We are incredibly proud of everything they achieved!
